Contrary to popular belief, there are many men I’ve met that either couldn’t be able to or wouldn’t want to enter a kitchen to do well something as simple as fix themselves a cup full of tea or boil an egg. Pity is the fact that these men either land up utilizing a tea bag or having cornflakes for breakfast!
With increasing gender role reversals along with a larger number of women joining the workforce, an increasing number of men are venturing into an area where few men have gone before. The house kitchen! And not just to smell what is cooking!
A few of these men cook and consider it a chore. Many guys have learnt to really grin and bear it! At the other end of the spectrum you’ll find men much like me who actually cook with flair and aplomb and look forward to showing off their skills. I belong to the latter group of men.
