Delicious Additions To The Usual Cookie Recipe

Published by at 11:31 am under Uncategorized

Tired of eating the chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin cookies that you’ve been baking forever? Looking for something a little more unique? Personally, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies.

Still, I’m always willing to try something new, and I take advantage of every opportunity to try new foods. Refusing to try new things every once in awhile could deprive you of some of your favorite foods.

Recently, I’ve been trying some new and unique cookie recipes, and I’ve been pleased with the results. I’ll share a few of these ideas, since I think many people would like them.

One creative way of baking cookies is to use cake mix instead of cookie dough. You have a wide range of flavor choices when using cake mix, and you’ll notice that the cookies crack as they flatten in the oven.

Another creative cookie recipe uses peanut butter cookie dough. You can buy some or make your own, then form it into cookies and place them in the oven. Once they’re baked, make small holes in the middle of each cookie and put a Reese’s peanut butter cup in the holes. These make for a delicious combination.

If you enjoy white chocolate, you can get creative by making oatmeal white chocolate cranberry cookies. All the ingredients actually blend together quite well and it makes for a delicious recipe; my friends are always asking me to cook up another batch of these.

You can also try adding cherry and butter toffee to the cookie mix, then adding in chocolate chips. This makes for sweet cookies that will have everyone asking for the recipe.

Cookies are fun to experiment with, and you can easily find new recipes by combining your own ideas with some of these. Keep trying new ideas and you might surprise yourself with the delicious recipes you create!
